Appearance

Choose Change, press the keys together, then confirm. Shortcuts pause while typing or using a dialog.

These shortcuts work inside Keepall and are included in library backups. The Chrome capture extension has its own shortcut. Change the Chrome extension shortcut.

Link previews

Fetch titles and images while online. Links save even without a preview.

• Only the page address is sent to the preview service.
• Notes, collections, and tags stay on this device.

Saving or updating an article also sends its page address to Keepall's server. Website icons may load from Google's favicon service or the original website.

Saved locally in this browser profile on this device.

Where saves live

This browser and site address only. Other profiles and devices have separate libraries.

Works offline

Open Keepall online first. Then browse, search, and edit local saves.

Needs the internet

Original websites, new previews, article capture and updates, and web image downloads.

Keep a recovery copy

Clearing site data erases this library. Export a backup or enable folder backups below.

A .keepall.zip copy of your library, media, and Trash.

Keep exported files outside the browser. Use Import backup to recover or move your library.
